Jewelry Care, Maintenance & Warranty Policy

Fine jewelry is designed to be worn and enjoyed, but normal wear can cause clasps, hinges, prongs, safety catches, links, and other moving parts to loosen or require adjustment over time. Routine maintenance is part of normal jewelry ownership and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Routine Maintenance

Examples of routine maintenance include, but are not limited to:

• Tightening or re-tensioning figure-eight safety catches and secondary safety clasps
• Minor clasp, hinge, or latch alignment adjustments
• Prong tightening and stone-security checks
• Rhodium plating, polishing, cleaning, and refinishing
• Ring sizing and normal wear-related adjustments
• Repair of stretched, bent, worn, or loosened links, clasps, chains, or bracelet components caused by use

Figure-eight safety catches and similar secondary safety clasps can gradually open, loosen, or lose tension with normal wear. Periodic tightening or adjustment is considered routine maintenance and does not create a lifetime free-repair obligation.

Manufacturer or Workmanship Concerns

If you believe an item has a manufacturing or workmanship issue, please contact Shirin Diamonds with your order information and clear photos or video. We may request that the item be inspected before determining whether repair, replacement, or another remedy is appropriate. Coverage, if any, depends on the item, condition, manufacturer coverage, purchase circumstances, and inspection findings.

Normal Wear, Accidental Damage & Misuse

Unless specifically covered by a separately purchased protection plan or stated manufacturer warranty, normal wear, accidental damage, impact, bending, catching, pulling, improper handling, chemical exposure, unauthorized repair, and routine maintenance are not covered as lifetime complimentary repairs.

Repairs & Adjustments

Many minor jewelry adjustments can be performed by a qualified local jeweler. Customers may also contact Shirin Diamonds for inspection or repair options. Charges may apply for labor, parts, shipping, insurance, or other service costs. Any quoted repair charge applies to that specific service and does not create ongoing or lifetime free-maintenance coverage.

Third-Party Protection Plans

Eligible jewelry may be offered with an optional Extend protection plan. Extend plans are separate from Shirin Diamonds' return policy and any manufacturer warranty. Coverage is subject to the terms of the specific Extend plan purchased.

Returns, Exchanges & Personalized Items

Repair or maintenance eligibility is separate from return or exchange eligibility. Returns and exchanges remain subject to our posted Refund Policy. Personalized, engraved, altered, worn, or otherwise non-returnable items remain subject to the applicable return-policy exclusions.

No Lifetime Maintenance Warranty Unless Expressly Stated

Shirin Diamonds does not provide unlimited lifetime complimentary maintenance or repair coverage unless such coverage is expressly stated in writing for a specific product or protection plan.
